Thread Drawings
The pieces in this collection are part of my Thread Drawings series. After creating collages by either weaving or machine stitching pieces together, I bring them to my trusty sewing machine of 20 years and apply stitching on top. I use a free motion technique to create abstract designs, going back and forth to create layers of texture.
